This subject might not be fun but it is certainly serious. Personal protection is paramount for a small business owner. Concealed carry handgun choices are countless. Avoid a costly mistake and do proper research before making this very serious purchase. Here is why the Sig Sauer P238 is my choice for concealed carry protection:

The Sig Sauer P238 .380 Caliber is among the smallest and lightest of your legal concealed carry options. The Ruger LCP and the M&P Bodyguard are both smaller and lighter by a few fractions which does not seem like much. In reality, the seemingly insignificant dimensions of the Sig P238 made a big difference in comfort, handling and accuracy. According the Sig Sauer website , this model is 5.5″ in length, 3.9″ high and 15.2 ounces in weight. Those numbers are meaningless other than to say this handgun fits in the palm of my hand, comfortable to carry and shoot.

Sig Arms is a brand famous for top quality craftsmanship and design. With its roots in Switzerland, a nation famous for fine quality chocolate, cheese, and all things mechanical, this Sig Sauer P238 is made in the USA with the same eye for being the best. The design is based one of the finest handguns ever made, the Colt 1911. If you like the Colt 1911 then you will love the Sig Sauer P238.

An uncomfortable gun to carry means that it is left at home in the safe. If it is left at home then it fails to serve its intended its purpose which is to provide protection. If it is uncomfortable then it is also not fun to shoot. If it is not fun to shoot then you will never become proficient in using it for protection. All of this means that you may end of with a firearm that you are not confident in carrying or deploying in unfortunate situations. In that scenario, it is best to choose pepper spray.

I can say that the Sig Sauer P238 is comfortable, accurate, reliable, and shoots as good as it looks. Carrying it has become such a part of my daily routine that I feel uncomfortable without it. Working, shopping, jogging, and cycling are all part of my daily life and this is the first weapon that I can take with me for every occasion.
