Today in the podcast we go over a little more about ham radio and the different frequencies there are. The frequencies can be confusing to some when they first get into ham radio so we tried to simplify it a bit…I hope we did anyway.
We also answered a few listener questions about mobile ham radio and the different levels of equipment. We go into what the 3 operator classes for ham radio are and why you would need them.
Morse code is something that I feel is going to be a useful tool in a post collapse world because you might not want the bad guys knowing your plans. There’s a link below to a website called Ham Whisperer that guides you though learning Morse code as well as a course that takes you through getting your ham radio license step by step.
