Artificial intelligence is changing the world—and that includes the world of prepping. Artificial intelligence is changing the world—and that includes the world of prepping. In this video, I take a deep dive into how AI impacts preparedness, why it’s both a blessing and a curse, and how you can use it without falling into “sheep mode.” AI is an incredible tool, but it’s not infallible. Just like some people blindly trust authority figures—a preacher, policeman, or doctor—too many now treat AI the same way. That’s a dangerous mindset when your safety and survival are on the line.

AI-generated content is everywhere, and while it can provide useful information, it often just regurgitates what’s already out there… including bad or misleading advice. With deepfakes and fabricated videos becoming more convincing, it’s going to be harder than ever to separate fact from fiction. In the preparedness community, this means being extra cautious about where your information comes from and learning to verify before you trust.

Prepping itself has changed over the years. Some tools, like inverter generators and modern battery technology, have improved our options, while others haven’t stood the test of time. At the same time, information has never been more accessible—you can learn from experts all over the world with a few clicks. But more opinions also mean more noise, so developing good judgment is more critical than ever.

Finally, I talk about the different types of preppers—and why labels don’t really matter. Whether you call yourself a prepper or not, the core idea is simple: being ready for the unexpected. Some people focus on gear, others on skills, and some on mindset—but in today’s world, you need all three. Don’t let hype, fear, or overconfidence cloud your thinking. Prepping isn’t about paranoia—it’s about being informed, adaptable, and resilient in a rapidly changing world.

Survival and being prepared should not only be a passion, it should be a lifestyle. The definition of a prepper is "An individual or group that prepares or makes preparations in advance of, or prior to, any change in normal circumstances, without substantial resources from outside sources" Like the Government, police etc. I don't believe that the end of the world will be the "end of the world" I believe it will be the end of the world as we know it now.
