In this podcast we talked about long term prepping and how what you do really depends on your personal situation. How you prepare if you live in an apartment will be completely different than if you live in a house or a rural area.

Prepping for an event that will last longer than a month will require more organization and rotation of supplies. Having a bunch of expired food might not kill you, but it might make you sick and cause other issues.

In the event of a long term situation most of the “intitlists” will be long gone and if we are lucky enough to survive the initial catastrophe we will need to be able to adapt to the situation because there is really no way to know how you will be impacted.

It’s also important to remember that as time goes on you will run out of things like fuel, water and supplies. Learning skills that will help us in the future are not only free to learn, but important to survival going longer into the future.

Survival and being prepared should not only be a passion, it should be a lifestyle. The definition of a prepper is "An individual or group that prepares or makes preparations in advance of, or prior to, any change in normal circumstances, without substantial resources from outside sources" Like the Government, police etc. I don't believe that the end of the world will be the "end of the world" I believe it will be the end of the world as we know it now.
