In this show I talk about SHTF expectations and how no one really knows what is going to happen. Some people can be pretty opinionated when it comes to prepping and what you should and shouldn’t do, but the truth is no one knows what the best plan is. This article from GraywolfSurvival.com goes into detail about this topic.
I also talked about some of these gimmicks we see on a daily basis like the everstrike match and the credit card knife. Some of these are great to have, but they shouldn’t replace your real survival supplies. One example I talked about in the podcast was a bacon grease candle, this is cool, but why not just have a candle?

Some of these are great to learn, but there is no reason to reinvent the wheel. I mentioned in the podcast how even I fall for it because you never know when something that seems ridiculous might come in handy. These termite cupcakes I made are a good example…
